Beastie Bros: Dungeons and Dragonflies (Beastie Bros)

An accessible, funny young fiction series from David O'Connell, starring a hilarious firefly and snail duo, highly illustrated in black and white. Perfect for readers aged 6-9 and fans of Jamie Smart, Toto the Ninja Cat and Dave Pigeon. Adoptive brothers Dribble the snail and Dash the firefly are on a tour of the local ant's nest to see the queen's crown jewels, when the dastardly dung beetles strike again and swipe the priceless Gumdrop of Destiny! Even worse? In the chaos, Dribble and Dash get trapped in the mysterious underground tunnels - some of which have may even lead to long-hidden kingdoms... And down there, some strange dragonflies have evolved into monster-like beasts! Can the duo beat the 'dragons' and unravel the mystery of WHO this stolen treasure truly belongs to... and get it back? The second instalment in the witty, brilliantly author-illustrated series from David O'Connell, the illustrator behind Tom Vaughan's Hercules, Pip Bird's The Naughtiest Unicorn, and many more. A winning blend of the chaos, wacky humour, adventure and comic-style art of graphic novels like Bunny vs Monkey and Investigators, and a more traditional, wittily written fiction story. A laugh-out-loud tale packed with hilarious characters and teeming with doodles - with a super-fun choose-your-own-adventure chapter!
