Police: You're enjoying it, aren't you? Fred West: Yeah. Why not? Police: I don't know. I don't understand it. Fred West: You will in the end. A DEFINITIVE NEW BOOK THAT SHEDS NEW LIGHT ON THE FRED AND ROSE WEST MURDER INVESTIGATIONS More than thirty years since the death of Fred West and the conviction of his wife Rose for murder, the West case still exerts a magnetic fascination. Nine bodies were found in 1994 buried under the couple's home at 25 Cromwell Street in Gloucester, the so-called 'House of Horrors'. In total, the Wests claimed twelve victims, including members of their own family. The Fred West Tapes is the inside story of the Fred & Rose West investigation by Howard Sounes, bestselling author and the producer behind the hit global documentary series. Going beyond his first book about this extraordinary case, Fred & Rose, Sounes sheds new light on the murders, using for the first time a trove of unseen police interviews with Fred West. Incorporating remarkable new evidence and primary source testimony, including interviews with members of the West family and victim families, this chilling book is a fascinating journey into the mind of one of Britain's most notorious serial killers.
